Dermal Fillers
A safe and quick solution to restore a subtle , youthful appearance is Dermal Fillers which are natural or synthetic gels that can be injected into the skin to lift and add volume to the soft tissue, thereby improving the appearance of lines and wrinkles. Dermal fillers contain Hyaluronic Acid which is naturally found in our body and gives our skin elasticity and suppleness. The amount of Hyaluronic Acid decreases as we age or regularly exposed to other factors and can cause our skin to wrinkle, look dull and tired. Dermal fillers can help re-hydrate the skin, smooth out deep wrinkles and plump out hollow or sagging areas.

A topical anaesthetic is used to numb the treatment areas and then the fillers are then injected into the skin in tiny amounts.
The full effects of the treatment can take up to 7 days to be noticed. You should be aware that during this period, there may be minimal swelling and bruising can sometimes occur so we would always advise that you plan your treatment with this in mind. Visible correction typically lasts 3 to 6 months, but treatment can be repeated as advised by your clinician.

It can also help to slim down your jaw muscles and be used to minimise the symptoms of clenching and hyperhidrosis (underarm sweating).
